💙 Celebrating Jewish Disability Awareness & Inclusion Month 💙
A few of our residents proudly participated in the Women in Action event held by the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County at the Mandel JCC, Boynton Beach on Tuesday, February 24th, in honor of Jewish Disability Awareness & Inclusion Month!
Our residents read to preschoolers about disabilities and inclusion and led a hands-on craft that celebrated kindness, empathy, and acceptance. We’re grateful to John Kabot, Director of Inclusion, for sharing a wealth of information on the importance of this topic and what it really means to parent a child with a disability. 💙

Last week, our Lisbet at Wellington Bay community kicked off our Walk to End Alzheimer’s with Nina Sharpe from the Alzheimer’s Association, inspiring words from our directors, and a spirited warm-up with team members dancing and residents joining right in! 😊🚶♂️
Together we walked for a cause close to our hearts, launching our fundraising journey toward the Palm Beach County Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 31!
