Turning Reuse into Art

Residents of Wellington Bay took part in Collective Dreams for a Waste Free Planet. The environmental art experience is led by Resource Depot, a nonprofit focused on creative reuse and sustainability education. The two-hour workshop emphasizes hands-on creativity and environmental awareness. The program is hosted at schools and organizations throughout the area.

Resource Depot artist Mary Glazier guided participants in reuse concepts while they created mixed media works reflecting hopes for a greener future. Residents of Wellington Bay demonstrated a strong commitment to a waste free planet, reimagining everyday materials with intention and creativity.
