Wellington Bay residents enjoyed sun and seaside fun during Liberty Senior Living’s first Florida Beach Day, hosted alongside sister community The Carlisle Palm Beach. Inspired bya beloved tradition in Liberty’s North Carolina communities, the event welcomed residents from independent and assisted living along with team members for a memorable day by the water.

Some residents splashed in the water, others relaxed on the sand with a book or magazine, soaking in the ocean breeze. A group of residents and team members also gave back by helping Parks and Recreation tidy the beach. A delicious picnic lunch was served.

“Many residents grew up with easy access to the beach, but transportation, safety, and mobility can make visits more challenging,” said Haley Kinne-Norris, Home Office Director of Life Enrichment and Wellness. “

Beach Day was made possible through adaptive equipment and hands on assistance, creating a day of camaraderie and fun for everyone.”
