The luxury rental senior living community features 159 independent living options, including spacious, upscale apartments, garden flats and villas. Wellington Bay offers peace of mind by also providing 124 assisted living and memory care residences in its Lisbet Health Center.

Approximately 200 guests attended the celebratory event. Area dignitaries included Wellington Mayor Anne Gerwig, Vice Mayor John McGovern, Village Councilwoman Tanya Siskind, Palm Beach County Commissioner Sara Baxter, and Wellington Chamber of Commerce President Scott Sweigart. Partners in the development of Wellington Bay who were present included Sandy and Ronny McNeill, owners of Liberty Healthcare, Will Purvis, President of Liberty Senior Living, Greg West, CEO of ZOM Living, and Stephen Ordway, Senior Vice President of ZOM Senior Living. Additional attendees included residents, prospective residents, and neighbors. A special surprise appearance was made by Steve Moss, Programs Coordinator with Scooter, the Clydesdale of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Unit.

Addressing the attendees, Jay Mikosch, Campus Executive Director of Wellington Bay, expressed thanks to all the individuals, organizations, and businesses that have been integral to the conception, development and construction of the stunning senior living community.

“All the hard work, creativity and passion has produced a campus that is truly beautiful and spectacular. Most importantly, we celebrate the residents of Wellington Bay, both current and future. They will shape and bring Wellington Bay to life and help to transform these buildings into a community; one that so many are and will be proud to call home,” he said.

Will Purvis stated that resulting from dedication and hard work “is the dynamic property that offers many living options, first-class amenities and services provided by an incredibly dedicated staff.” Referring to the residents who have already moved into Wellington Bay, he added, “I have enjoyed meeting many of you and hearing your experiences thus far and how proud you are to call Wellington Bay home. We can build great buildings, but at the end of the day, the residents and dedicated staff make a community. It has been a pleasure for me to watch this one unfold.”

“We are excited to have developed this property in partnership with Liberty Senior Living,” said Stephen Ordway. “This spectacular property offers a one-of-a-kind, resident-focused experience that is centered on meeting their daily needs, providing personalized care, and offering lifestyle-driven amenities.”

Like other Liberty Senior Living communities, Wellington Bay is designed to provide residents with luxury amenities and concierge services. The community is located on over 40 acres boasting expansive grounds and trails with outdoor recreational areas, and best-in-class amenities including pickleball and bocce ball courts and a zero-entry outdoor pool. Wellington Bay features multiple fine and casual dining venues and lounges. Its 65,000-square-foot clubhouse includes an indoor pool, spa, library, movie theater, meditation room, club room, art room, and more.
